NEZAVISNE NOVINE MOVING INTO NEW BUSINESS BUILDING
15.03.2005: SAFAX
On Monday, Banja Luka daily newspaper Nezavisne Novine moved into a new business building. The official ceremony held on that occasion, which gathered a large number of guests coming from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Prime Minister Adnan Terziæ, confirmed that this newspaper impartially reports on events in the entire state, without ethnically-tinted prejudices that characterise many of BiH media.
In addition to Banja Luka, Nezavisne Novine also has a large newsroom in Sarajevo. This is the only newspaper fully distributed in both BiH entities.
The director and owner of Nezavisne Novine is Željko Kopanja, journalist who, due to the writing on war crimes committed by Serbs in recent war, sustained severe injuries in the explosion of a device planted in his vehicle, which left him without legs.
The best rated daily newspaper in BiH is Dnevni Avaz, Sarajevo, which also moved into new modern premises last month.
